TOTEMITO / QUEUE NUMBERS AND CALLS
Queue ticket kiosk with an on-screen caller
Issue tickets and call the next number per counter from your phone. A TV announces it with sound, voice and a history.

WHAT HAPPENS TODAY
A counter with a lot to handle.
Lines to get attention can start before dawn. Primera Edición described in 2025 the wait for medical appointments in Eldorado. A visible order helps people plan their wait, although it does not add service capacity.
WHAT YOU CAN CHANGE
The first step, on screen.
The kiosk hands out a printed number and records it. Staff call the next pending ticket from a mobile console, or repeat the last one. The screen shows the current number and the last five per counter, with a chime and voice when the browser allows it.
WHAT THE TEMPLATE INCLUDES
Tools for your day to day.
- 01Queue ticket with a prefix per service area.
- 02Mobile console with next and repeat per counter.
- 03Screen with history, chime and spoken announcement.
- 04Optional USB numeric keypad for local calls.
A kiosk with a touch screen and an epson-80 thermal printer, plus a second N100 mini PC connected to the waiting-room TV. The caller TV needs that mini PC for now: browser mode (/tv) shows menus and promos but does not call queue numbers yet. Set the queue group id on the ticket kiosk. Optional USB keypad on the TV.
- Thermal printer · epson-80 · ID 04b8:0e15
The IDs refer to the curated list, not to any device from the same brand. Check power, cables and mounting before using it with the public.

What you want to know.
How are the kiosk and the TV linked?
The TV runs an app with a Caller block. The ticket kiosk names that queue’s group so issued tickets are reported there. In Call, you pick the same group and prefix.
Is the called number read aloud?
The browser plays a chime and uses the Web Speech API (Spanish voices today). If voice or audio is unavailable, the number and the animation stay visible.
Can I use it offline?
The local keypad keeps calls on the machine. Without a connection, local numbering cannot guarantee a shared order across several machines, so staff need to coordinate service.
